Gece Turizminde Suç Korkusu ve Turistik Kaçınma: Çevresel Kriminoloji Temelinde Kavramsal Bir Model (Fear of Crime in Nighttime Tourism and Tourist Avoidance: A Conceptual Model Grounded in Environmental Criminology)

Bu çalışmanın amacı, gece turizmi bağlamında suç korkusunun turistik kaçınma davranışına nasıl dönüştüğünü çevresel kriminoloji temelinde açıklayan kavramsal bir model geliştirmektir. Araştırma, çevresel kriminoloji, turizm güvenliği, çevre psikolojisi ve suç korkusu literatürlerini bir araya getiren bütünleştirici literatür incelemesine dayalı model temelli kavramsal bir çalışma olarak tasarlanmıştır. İnceleme sonucunda, gece turizminde yetersiz aydınlatma, fiziksel düzensizlik, kalabalık, ıssızlık ve gözetim yetersizliği gibi çevresel göstergelerin turistler tarafından yorumlanarak algılanan mağduriyet riskini şekillendirdiği; bu bilişsel değerlendirmenin suç korkusunu güçlendirerek katılımsal, mekânsal ve zamansal kaçınma davranışlarına zemin hazırladığı belirlenmiştir. Önerilen model, çevresel koşullar ile turistik kaçınma arasındaki ilişkiyi algılanan mağduriyet riski ve suç korkusu üzerinden açıklamaktadır. Çalışma, gece turizmi, suç korkusu ve çevresel kriminoloji literatürlerini ortak bir çerçevede bütünleştirerek turizm güvenliği alanına kuramsal katkı sunmakta, destinasyon yöneticileri ve yerel yönetimler için bağlama duyarlı güvenlik düzenlemelerine yönelik bir değerlendirme zemini oluşturmakta ve sonraki ampirik araştırmalar için sınanabilir ilişkiler ortaya koymaktadır.
