Yemek Temalı TV Programlarının Hedonik Algı ve Davranışsal Niyet Üzerindeki Etkisi (The Effect of Food-Themed TV Programs on Hedonic Perception and Behavioral Intention)

Öz

Bu araştırmanın amacı, yemek temalı televizyon programlarının izleyicilerin hedonik algıları üzerindeki etkisini ve bu algının gastronomi destinasyonlarını ziyaret etmeye yönelik davranışsal niyetlere nasıl dönüştüğünü Uyarıcı-Organizma-Tepki (SOR) modeli çerçevesinde incelemektir. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yaklaşımı benimsenmiş; veriler kolayda örnekleme yöntemiyle ulaşılan 181 katılımcıdan çevrimiçi anket tekniğiyle toplanmıştır. Veri analizinde LISREL programı kullanılarak Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi (DFA) ve Yapısal Eşitlik Modellemesi (YEM) uygulanmıştır. Bulgular, yemek temalı televizyon programlarının uyarıcı boyutları arasında yalnızca empati oluşturmanın hedonik algıyı pozitif ve anlamlı biçimde etkilediğini göstermektedir. Buna karşılık bilgi sağlama, rehberlik, imaj sağlama, sosyal etki ve toplumsal etki gibi daha çok bilişsel içerikli boyutların hedonik algı üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi belirlenmemiştir. Ayrıca hedonik algının davranışsal niyet üzerinde güçlü ve pozitif bir etkiye sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu bulgular, yemek temalı televizyon programlarının gastronomi destinasyonlarına yönelik davranışsal niyet oluşturmasında bilgi aktarımından çok, izleyicinin programdaki anlatıyla kurduğu empati temelli duygusal deneyimin belirleyici olduğunu göstermektedir. Çalışma, gastronomi destinasyonlarının tanıtımında hikâye anlatıcılığı ve duygusal deneyim tasarımına odaklanan iletişim stratejilerinin önemini vurgulayarak destinasyon yöneticileri ve medya profesyonelleri için uygulamaya dönük çıkarımlar sunmaktadır.
